Easter during the quarantine

Easter is the holiday we love because it brings the whole family together and is the holiday where we start enjoying the mild weather, the first picnics, the first sun, the first BBQ of Easter Monday.

This year Easter will be very unique and particular .... cause of this qurantine not everyone has the opportunity to get closer to the family or to experience the warmth of a house full of people. This year we had to adapt, and we know how much Italians and human beings are good at changing habits, reinventing ourselves, not losing an opportunity to stay united ...even the technological era in which we live is helping alot! In fact, thanks to internet, to the various applications for video calls, to the fast connection, we are able to connect with the most loved ones ... and why not ... even have breakfast or lunch all together through a virtual screen.

I would say that we are lucky to live this moment of social restrictions in a period of high technology, probably  it will be less heavy in our souls and when everything will end we will rediscover the little precious things that we lost living our daily frenzy. 

Only a year ago the Agritrullismo of the Imperials opened its doors to the first guests, shyly offering a nice picnic in the shadow of the trullo, a tasty bbq all together, even if it was not yet completed the work on the outdoor areas. We did not miss the first opportunity to celebrate all together and inaugurate our hospitality! 

This year our doors are closed, but the heart is with all of you .... we will console ourselves with a small ember on the terrace, a glass of Brindisi wine and the sun .... luckily we have our oil for seasoning these quarantine days and bring back into mind home flavors.
