How to build a cheap and nice firepit

Today I would like to show you a simple and cheap way to create and enhance a part of your garden. Just a small fire, a few friends, maybe a guitar and some beer to make a summer evening super magical. The firepit has always been a design element present in the Anglo-Saxon culture, which has now become an international accessory and perhaps, instead of marshmallows, we could cook the delicious Apulian "Bombette".

In our case we wanted to clean up an area behind the trullo and why not, give guests the opportunity to opt for a nice fire on a cool summer evening. The first thing to do is to identify the space and the type of soil, in our case we had to flatten and clean up the area a bit before rolling out the black plastic bags.

As materials we have chosen to use the stones present on the ground, some tuff bricks and some imagination. The only material purchased was a few refractory bricks used at the base of the hearth, high temperature silicone, the bricciolino and the two wooden tables for the seats; all material that can be found at affordable prices. Here are some photos of the various stages of the work, but to see all the complete steps and the main tips, I refer you to the video by clicking HERE! I hope the little tutorial will help you to build something nice in your garden. We, on the other hand, look forward to welcoming you ... we are waiting for you in Puglia!
