Sleeping in a Trullo

Sleeping in a trullo is a rare and unique experience!

Perhaps a little less rare for the local people, but just think about these curious houses which can be found only in Puglia, South of Italy, and are known in the world because they are UNESCO heritage. Only here you will be able to live the experience of sleeping and living in a trullo sorrounded by centuries-old olive trees. 

What do you need for this type of stay? 

Surely you have to like the type of vacation .... relax in the countryside, though not isolated, enjoying the sounds of nature rather than city traffic or the chaos of highly frequented places. A minimum of adaptability, despite having all the basic comforts, it's important to understand that the trullo is by definition a small, collected structure. You can experience the beautiful atmosphere of the stone, of the niches, adapting to the available spaces. All this it's normal since you are out of your home and living a new place, so you need that flexibility and autonomy in learning to manage the trullo in order to fully enjoy your stay. 

You don't have to be afraid of animals or insects .... You are in the countryside! Watch out for crumbs at home to avoid having an entire colony of ants. Outside you can enjoy the Apulian sun or the cool shade of the majestic olive trees ... On a hammock or a deckchair or directly laying on the fresh grass of our garden. We do not have a washing machine, but we know that a half-day of sun is enough to find dry clothes, so you will find a small sink with natural soap and a drying rack. 

The area is inhabited four season but you will have the privacy you are looking for, as you can live two hectares of private land. You are only 10 minutes away from the nearest town where you can find all the necessary services.
