Blue Flag recognition 2019

It's always a pleasure see that our beaches and marinas have been awarded with the Blue Flag, and recognized as ones of the most voluntary eco-labels beaches from all over the world.

What's a Blue Flag award?
The iconic Blue Flag is one of the world’s most recognized voluntary eco-labels awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators. Has been created in 1987 from a Danish ONG called FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) and is supported by two agency from the UN and recognized by the UNESCO. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained. (Font: https://www.blueflag.global/).
Also this year the Apulian Region has been recognized with 13 Blue Flags, in particular for the entire North Brindisi Coast, the locations of Fasano, Carovigno and Ostuni have been confirmed. Blue flag as the best marinas also for the Marina of Brindisi (Bocca di Puglia).
We are proud to say that our trullo is located just 30 minutes from the most awarded beaches such as the WWF natural reserve Torre Guaceto where you can find miles of wild beaches or Punta Penna Grossa, always in the reserve but in the area equipped with umbrellas and bars. Going further north you will find the Ostuni marina with its Fontanelle beach, Pilone Viar Beach and Lido Morelli.
For more details we suggest you visit the section of the site TO VISIT.
